John Saunders

John's career highlights include National Euphonium titles in 1986 and 1988, multiple NSW Euphonium championships, "Ern Keller" Champion in 1998, multiple appearances in the select "Australia Brass" ensemble, and an invitation to play for both a radio broadcast and a CD recording with the famed "Black Dyke" Brass band from Yorkshire England. John also gained an A. Mus. A and L. Mus. A on Euphonium and is currently a member of Australia's own National Band, National Australia Brass.

John has tutored many many players of all ages and standards over the last 28 years. His past and current students have become both State and National winners on their chosen instruments with some going onto professional and semi professional musical careers in both teaching and playing. In 2006 John was appointed the Director of Music of the NSW Police Band.
